Problem
Events often rely on outdated or fragmented tools that limit the attendee experience. Schedules are hidden away in PDFs, updates get scattered across email or social media, and participants have no central place to connect, share, or stay informed. Organizers also lack visibility into engagement and attendance, making it difficult to measure success or plan effectively.
Solution (In Development)
We are building a convention app designed to bring everything into one accessible, community-driven platform. The app will be powered by a WordPress back-end for easy administration and will include features such as a dynamic schedule with push notifications, mapping tools, calendar export, and custom reminders. Attendees will have rich profiles that connect them to speakers, organizers, and each other. Interactive features like posts, comments, reviews, channels, and ISO (In Search Of) matching will create a vibrant space for community interaction. Organizers will gain access to analytics dashboards that track engagement, attendance, and user activity — all within the same system.
Impact (Future Goals)
Once completed, the app will transform the way events are managed and experienced. Attendees will enjoy a seamless, mobile-first tool that keeps them connected and informed, while organizers will benefit from streamlined communication, reduced overhead, and actionable insights. The vision is a centralized, modern hub that enhances participation, builds community, and helps events run smarter.
Current Status
The project is in active development. Core planning and feature scoping have been completed, and design prototypes are underway. The WordPress back-end has been selected as the administrative framework, and early work has started on data structures and API integration. Upcoming milestones include refining the user interface, implementing the event scheduling system, and building out the first round of interactive community features.
